Hi, I’m Ken!

SLO Photo Co. began in 2011 after I realized how much I LOVE photographing families.

I started my photography career in 2007 when I fell in love with shooting weddings (click here for my weddings website). I still love it just as much, but moving into the children phase of my marriage has made me realize how precious and monumental having kids is. Mine have filled my heart with more love than I thought possible, and with that has come a love of documenting the lives of other families and children with my camera.

What do I want out of photographing you and your family? I want the fulfillment that comes with knowing I’ve provided you with something priceless – something that you’ll look back on in a week or 10 years and feel that rush of love and pride that you are familiar with as parents.

I’m not in this to just give you a staged, forced “ok now everybody look at the camera!” photo for your mantle. I’m in this to produce photos that evoke a response. Photos that make your heart swell and deepen the wrinkles on your face that joy created.
